SELF.

  Christ will indeed give you a real personality: but you must not go to Him for the sake of that. As long as your own personality is what you are bothering about you are not going to Him at all. The very first step is to try to forget about the self altogether. Your real, new self (which is Christ's and also yours, and yours just because it is His) will not come as long as you are looking for it. It will come when you are looking for Him.

Lose your life and you will save it. Submit to death, death of your ambitions and favorites wishes every day and death of your whole body in the end: submit with every fibre of your being, and you will find eternal life. look for Christ, and you will find Him, and with Him everything else thrown in.

So.. we had a photoshoot a couple weeks ago on ASU's campus. During it it made me feel quite incompetent, like I almost didn't even want to take the pictures feeling I would do a bad job, I felt so inexperienced. It was our first time taking pictures of someone we had never met. I just want to take a portrait class! I learned we have sooo much to improve on. Also: NOT wear super bright colors when taking them in the sunlight!

I have found I enjoy using pictures I ( or Mark) have taken and putting words on them. This particular one is a bible verse, but even finding quotes that kind of go with the picture is quite fun! As I do them it makes me think maybe I would like to do something in advertising. Where I am able to take pictures and put logos on them or something?! Not sure if that is really a job, maybe next fall I can find an internship in that field! butttt I will be doing something very exciting this summer involving taking pictures!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Stay tuned!

SPRINGY BREAK!

Well--- Spring break was definitely not HOMEWORK-FREE. Monday-Thursday I literally did homework ALL.DAY. I was also unfortunately not feeling well :(! I was thankful I didnt have to work or anything! Otherwise I am not sure I could have gotten everything done before we left for Cali on Friday!
I got to talk to my NIU friends ALOT over break.. it was AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!--- Thank you guys sooo much for helping me in my decision making and loving on me!! I miss them so very much!

CALI- Was AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!! Had super fun times with holl, and with our cousins! IT was just an all around GREAT TRIP!! some pics...

YUP. we hiked Camelback. HARDER than i thought, and it was SO hot out!Mark didnt seen to think it was hard, We had a DELICIOUS  meal at Sweet tomatoes after..  !!!!

I watched Jack this week.. He was on spring break :) precious child.

Him being off work= LOTS OF GREAT QUALITY TIME TOGETHER :)!! and sweetly bringing me food while I babysat :)!

THis pic was suppose to go last.. but it wouldn't go in order! Anyways this is on Sunday walking into Church, we went to Mission Church in Gilbert with Mary & Meghan and it was AMAZING. I think we are going to start getting involved here :) I really want too! It was such a great and challenging service and everyone is so NICE! Also, it dropped in the 40's and rained and was quite windy all Sunday! It was so nice! Hadnt been that cold in AGES! It had been so hot! We got a last little bit of some serious winter weather!(serious for Phoneix)

Saturdaysssss :)!

Great Saturday..! Spent almost the entire day with Mark :)  Holl and Brandon spent most of the day here, we played frisbee, made lunch, mark and I took some pics, went for a hike, made dinner and watched a movie with actual good popcorn (not the fat free no butter kind) .. and I talked to Lauren on the phone! :) Last night Mark & I went to a dinner&movie with Meghan and Shane.. as in they SERVED dinner in the movie theater!Pretty awesome!Arizona peeps: Its in the Biltmore in Scottsdale!

Well days are in the 80's and the orange trees are blossoming making it smell delicious.. but this does mean the HEAT is COMING!!!!!!!!

Mark is off this week since the kids are on break they all went on a vaca! He works so much--needed a week off!!!

We have an ultimate game tonight, which may not go so well most of our best players are out of town!  But that means more playing time for me ;)

BIG DAY-- Had a skype interview for a summer camp job.. he opened it up in prayer and I closed in prayer.. pretty cool.
Then.. shadowed a 3rd grade teacher... which left me feeling more confused..
