Gettin roasty!!

Its 77 Degrees in janurary! At church this morning the pastor said how this is the perfect weather everyone said how they wished it never got colder than that..! I think I live in the wrong state.. I think its been MUCH to warm...!!
Seasons=time changing. Here it just feels like time just stays the same.
Mark and I went downtown and there were some illinois spring trees there!  It was awesome!! I cant wait to go on a super scenic hiking trip sometime.

It was super hard to hold both dogs at the same time!!!!!
 
A couple nights ago, Mark and I were going to play frisbee and there was a BEAUTIFUL vibrant sunset. We pulled over and parked and ran acoss to an open place to take a picture of it. We got the tripod all set up and realized marks battery was at home charging :( such a bummer! But here is a phone picture of it!

Lastly, this is my FAVORITE song right now.. LISTEN TO THE WHOLE THING.. It starts slow but gets awesome!

I really couldnt come up with a title!! Something I have been feeling lately: The christian life isnt easy but it is always worth it. We learn this in church but when put into practice it is  much easier said than done.

So i am reading about the how we produce speech.. The physiological aspects.. its a complicated process! Who knew so much went into how we talk! I am not sure If I should be super interested in these concepts or not.. I cant say that I am butt hopefully it gets better! Also.. Its quits frustrating taking anatomy and physiology over and not remembering any of the information.. well right now its more like retaking college biology&chemistry over.no.fun. :(

Also.. Dairy queen is having everything 50% off tonight!! CAN YOU SAY SUPER CHEAP DELICIOUS DESSERT !?!???!?!???!?! It was awesome- food always taste better when you get a great deal. Well DQ always taste amazing no matter what.

God has perfect timing. I think that is something everyone can struggle with. Me especially, taking many college courses over, not understanding why things happen, EXTREMELY confused at what career path to take, changing my mind every other month! Looking back, I can be regretful and just wish I could start college over, the money I could save, the wisdom I could have... However that is not God's will for us. The beauty of life is that we can NOT mess up God's plan for us. No matter how confused we may be in life and questionable- he is working within us when we don't even REALIZE it. Thats pretty awesome. I do think that  the closer we are walking with god- reading our bibles, continually praying we are going to see more of what he is doing in our lives. I am still so young- I do not need to have life figured out! Frankly, I never will. Life is a continual learning experience and it is not suppose to be easy, but we are suppose to be on fire for God and have the holy spirit inside of us.

When I went to see Fancis Chan at GCU last friday he spoke of his daughter who was living without the holy spirit inside of her. It made me question- Am I actively living the holy spirit inside of me each and every day? I think if I was I would not be constantly worrying what am I doing with my life, am I picking the right major, career path, why can not I not retain information as well as my fellow classmates..? None of that would matter, I would just be happy for each and every day the Lord has given me and constantly seek ways to tell others about his grace and the love he has for me and everyone. The Lord calls us to make disciples- that is the one thing each and every Christian is called to do- no exceptions.

I am thankful for my new lab partner in anatomy/physiology lab - Daiquiri! ( shout out if your reading this) After lab walking back we just talked about this, how we are called to teach others and love others. We can not live in fear of awkward conversations or embarrassed of our faith in front of non-believers. Daiquiri is starting a bible study I am going to be a apart of and I cant wait to see how God blesses it and the friendships of the girls. She is taking charge and going out there and making disciples! !

"Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and he will give you everything you need."  - Luke 12:31. I think if i truly aligned my life with god I wouldn't want anything in life. I would know I had the holy spirit in me and I would be pleased just listening to him and living my life for the lord.

A BLOGS LIFE...

The title is very creative huh? like a bugs life.. but a blogs life?! hehe. So I used Tumblr for a couple months and really liked it.. BUTT my bff Lauren got a blog from blogger and hers was just the most amazing thing sooo i just had to switch over.. Today I am babysitting the cutest little kid- Jack. I think I actually want to go try and find a job with disabled kids. I have had a babysitting job past year and my job may be with disabled kids so it be cool to get paid for learning about them!. side note: i need a part time job.. sooo if ya know of anything :)!

Also. I am not very good at keeping posts organized I dont think. Lauren.. you are. so go YOU!  I think I am going to share some of my favorite pictures from past couple months. This will be rather picture oriented because I love taking pictures. Mark just got a new AWESOME camera and we went on a photoshoot yesterday.. it was fun:) I just wish Phoenix had some actual scenery that was eye appealing..besides the awesome sunsets.
